REYNOLDS TELEPHONE SERVICE FEATURES Caller ID - (FREE with 500-Residential and the Unlimited-Residential) Caller ID allows for you to see the phone number of the caller. You can usually also see the caller's name. How it Works: This service displays the name and number of the incoming caller on your telephone, if your phone has a Caller ID Display Unit. Some older Caller ID boxes may not be compatible but most are.
Call Waiting - (FREE with 500-Residential and the Unlimited-Residential) This service notifies you that a second call is on the line and allows you to switch between the calls. How it Works: When you are on the phone and another caller is calling you, you will hear a tone in the earpiece that alerts you that someone else is trying to reach you. If you have Caller ID enabled and a Caller ID display you will be able to see who the second is before you answer it. To put your current call on hold and answer the second call, simply hit the flash button or switch the hook on the phone and you will instantly be connected to the second without losing your first call. To disable call waiting for the next call only, press *70 before you place the call.
Voice Mail - (FREE with 500-Residential and the Unlimited-Residential) Each line is equipped with a Voice Mail box that works like an answering machine. How it Works: If your Voice Mail feature is enabled, calls that are not answered will be sent to your Voice Mail box where the caller will be able to leave you a message. There are a variety of ways in which you can be notified of a Voice Mail: instead of a normal dial tone when you pick of the phone you may hear a series of short-separate tones. With certain devices, a message may be identified by a light. Reynolds Phone Service (Reynolds Digital Voice) also allows you to be notified by email when a message is left; you can even have the message attached to the email via the web based control panel . To access you Voice Mail from your phone hand set, dial your telephone number and wait for your voicemail greeting to pick up. Press the * (PRESSING THE * KEY IS NOT NECESSARY WITH ALL DEVICES) and you will be prompted to enter your pass-code. Your default pass code is the last 4 digits of your phone number. You can access your Voice Mail from any phone by dialing your phone number and then when your Voice Mail picks up enter * (SOME DEVICES MAY REQUIRE THE # KEY INSTEAD) to interrupt the greeting followed by entering in your passcode.
Call Forwarding - (FREE with 500-Residential and the Unlimited-Residential) Call Forwarding allows you to forward you calls to any other domestic phone number. This feature will ensure that your calls will not go unanswered. How it Works: THIS FEATURE IS DONE THROUGH THE WEB BASED CONTROL PANELS
Call ID Blocking - (FREE with 500-Residential and the Unlimited-Residential) Call ID Blocking allows you to call a number and withhold your caller ID information from being displayed on the other party's phone. How it Works: Your information is sent to the call recipient by default, however, should you wish to remain anonymous simply dial *67 prior to making the call. The recipients Caller ID display will show that your information is unavailable. You must enter *67 prior to each call in order to prevent your information from being sent to the recipient.

How it Works: Call Return allows you to dial the number of the last party that called, to do so dial *69. Once you have dialed *69 you will hear a ring tone as the system has redialed the last party. SOME DEVICES WILL READ BACK THE # TO YOU THROUGH THE HAND SET.
3-Way Calling - (FREE with 500-Residential and the Unlimited-Residential) 3-Way Calling allows you to have 2 other parties join in one phone call. When you conference the other two parties, all three parties on the line can hear and converse with one another.
How it Works: To use 3-Way calling you simply dial the number of one of the parties that you want to conference. Next, press the flash button or switch hook on their telephone and then dial the other party that is to be involved. To connect everyone, simply press the flash button or switch the hook again.
